New Zealand Boutique & Rural Stays. Cosy, quiet, and unique places to stay and experience. By Gracefully Captured Photography.
Rural, quiet stay in Banks Peninsula, New Zealand
Something about me is that I love finding beautiful and unique places to stay. The more rural, the better.
There’s something special for me about stepping away from the busy pace of everyday life and finding a little corner of the world where you can simply slow down and re charge. Somewhere surrounded by nature, where mornings are quiet, the views are beautiful, and there’s nowhere you need to be.
Last winter my husband and I found this stay called Tommy’s Fall outside of Christchurch in New Zealands South Island. It was rainy but that made it that more cosy.
On this blog post thread I am going to continue sharing the quiet escapes for you to enjoy too and maybe you will find a new place to stay.
First up is: TOMMY'S FALL
BANKS PENINSULA, CANTERBURY
This small cabin set In the hills 1 hour from Christchurch on a working farm, has the most beautiful views to offer. A wood fired hot tub and a clean and comfortable interior. What more could you ask for!
It was raining for most of our stay here but there are marked paths to walk along some of the farmland if you wanted a stroll. We went down to Diamond Harbour and had a hot chocolate from a small cafe there. The best I’ve tried in a long time.
Diamond Harbour
Best Hot Chocolate
We would definitely stay again.
I will continue sharing more places so come back soon!
